Instagram Obsession

Instagram has become one of my favorite apps. Over the last few years, it's where I've been posting photos of my adventures, things that inspire me and the sketches I'm creating.

Thank you to all who have followed along so far! We don't always know where life will take us but I'm going to do my best to hold on and enjoy the ride... one picture at a time.

Sketchbook

Sketching while I watch SyFy’s ‘FaceOff’ season 9. It’s an interesting group this season! Can’t wait to draw more of the cast. A wise man once told me that you should "sketch anywhere and everywhere - even when you're watching something on TV." I didn't realize how important that was until just recently.

Inspiration Sunday

As a way to keep myself posting on a consistent basis, I'm creating "Inspiration Sunday" where I will post things that interest me and inspire me to do what I love...

In recent weeks I've started up a new project that forced me to study African cultures in depth. This picture is just one of the many that I have collected. I'm absolutely in love with the colors they choose to use in their fabrics and hope to incorporate a similar saturation in my drawings.
